It's no secret that this year, Overwatch 2 faced multiple controversies, which fueled debate and discontent among players. Arguably, the most devastating blow came with the cancelation of the game's long-awaited PvE Hero Mode, which was announced at BlizzCon 2019. The promise of a single-player campaign and skill trees was at one point a core reason for the creation of Overwatch 2.
