Sony's PlayStation 5 is a capable gaming console, leveraging its custom AMD chip to allow users to experience content with significantly better fidelity and higher frame rates than its predecessor. It enables this by using its large SSD to pull extensive amounts of data to memory over a much shorter period, a much more capable GPU under the hood, and plenty of shared VRAM (16GB GDDR6).
