The Civilization franchise includes some of the most iconic titles in the strategy genre, and as the wait for Civilization 7 continues, the series could benefit from opening its doors to more players who may be curious about dipping a toe into the strategy game pool but are too intimidated by the steep learning curve. Although Civilization can be incredibly fun, it's not a franchise that is easy to acclimate to, and the next entry in the franchise should work on its accessibility.
