CD Projekt RED announced the development of three new games in its famous Witcher franchise in October 2022 to much fanfare, as it has been eight years since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s release at the time. The company could only label these projects with codenames because they were still early in development and perhaps the most interesting installment in this new Witcher trilogy is Sirius due to its multiplayer focus. While this will likely feature a new cast of characters and different gameplay, it should take a page from The Witcher 3 and integrate one of its best features for multiplayer.
