Sonic X Shadow Generations has Shadow go up against several opponents from the past. As he continues through White Space to defeat Black Doom, you'll face off against several enemies from Sonic and Shadow's past. The first enemy to return is the Biolizard, which was the prototype that preceded Shadow in Gerald Robotnik's attempts to create the Ultimate Lifeform.
