Guardians of the Galaxy star Zoe Saldaa has recently opened up and reflected on her time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Gamora, revealing that she thinks she could've done more with her character's storyline. First appearing in American comic books under Marvel Comics, The Guardians sprung into life in Marvel Super-Heroes #18 in January 1969, which one of its creators, Roy Thomas, said came about from an exciting idea that saw super-guerrillas fighting against Russians and Red Chinese who had taken over the USA. However, it would be another five years until the team were seen again, reappearing in Marvel Two-In-One issue five in 1975 before finally getting its own series in 1976.
