After a long wait and frustrating delays, Peacemaker fans have finally received a short teaser for the upcoming season two release on HBO and Max. The new footage, included in Max's 2025 promo trailer, showcases a look at John Cena and other characters, but in a recent post, series creator, James Gunn, shared a "stressed out" GIF on Instagram when asked if the highly anticipated TV show was finally done and dusted. Based on the DC Comics character, Christopher Smith, Peacemaker is a spin-off from the 2021 film The Suicide Squad and revolves around the narrative set after the film ended, which explores the pacifist diplomat Smith as he joins the A.R.G.U.S. black ops squad whose goal is to track down and destroy butterfly-like creatures who have made humans their playground.
