The key to surviving and winning any match in the competitive Call of Duty: Warzone is having a solid team that can work through the harshest firefights. Not many Call of Duty: Warzone players have the coordination and endurance necessary to withstand the heat and wipe entirely. In the case of one Warzone player, not only did his team defend against an entire enemy squad, but he cleverly spliced in clips of a famous Game of Thrones scene gives their combined efforts a new perspective.
Game of Thrones is a TV series that sits sour in the mouth of many long-time fans. Its series finale is among the most disappointing of all time, so much so that many of the show's fans petitioned to have the entire last season remade. Reddit user forcedobscurity doesn't leave us with any lack of action or a satisfying ending, as he and his team defend their position in an impressive battle.

The scene in question is the death of Hodor, played by Kristian Nairn, as he holds off a horde of wights. As Hodor braces himself against the door, forcedobscurity does the same, heeding the call of his teammates as he races to a nearby stairwell. Within seconds an enemy squad is assaulting their position, sending the two squads into a massive gunfight as forcedobscurity and his team hold the door.
The action continues for a full minute, his teammates calling out enemy positions as more come up the stairwell. With his squad falling, forcedobscurity splices in more clips of the deadly wights as Hodor succumbs to their attack. Despite calling for help and some close calls, forcedobscurity takes down each enemy squad member. At the end of it all, one of his teammates mocks him for his apparent need for help, a clear sign that the Warzone player has been in a quite a few outnumbered gunfights.
This level of skill is a treat to see, especially since it's relatively easy to cheat in Call of Duty: Warzone despite Activision's anti-cheat stance and its efforts to end it. Combined with hackers revealing ways to circumvent bans and avoid them altogether, the problem appears to be growing bigger not only for the company, but players as well. While the community waits for a more definitive end to the cheaters, clips like this serve as a light-hearted way to show that some players have the skill to back themselves up.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
