Just Die Already is an upcoming dark comedy sandbox game from the designers of Goat Simulator, and it looks almost equally chaotic. This new game adapts the wacky humor of its goat-themed inspiration, but this time focusing on a group of senior citizens. After a successful PC demo release last year, the developers have revealed that the game is coming to consoles as well.
Just Die Already is about a world where old people are mistreated and forgotten, thrust out of the old folks home and into a harsh reality where they must battle to survive. On top of including some of the designers behind Goat Simulator, the game is being developed by DoubleMoose and published by CurveDigital, who also published the well-reviewed Human Fall Flat.

Today, CurveDigital announced that the game is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on top of the originally announced PC release. No release date was given for either the PC release or the expanded console releases, but the developers did show a highlight reel of many influencers' impressions of the game from its aforementioned demo.
Not much other new information was communicated as part of this trailer, as not even a release window has been communicated yet. The game was in a playable state as of last summer, but there's likely quite a bit more work that needs to be done to complete this oddball release.
While Just Die Already is looking nice and silly, it remains to be seen if the game will have anything of substance beyond providing a few easy laughs. Games like these often seem like they're built to watch YouTubers play, rather than for actual fun, so it remains to be seen if this game will fall into that trap.
Just Die Already is in development for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
