The Uncharted series of games has seen much praise from gamers since its debut on the PS3. Since its release, it has become one of Sony's flagship franchises for showcasing cinematic action, intricate storytelling, and realistic visuals. After receiving four mainline games and a few spin-offs, there is a lot under the series' belt. However, despite the franchise's success and acclaim, there is nothing officially announced for the future. Amidst this time of little new Uncharted content for fans to approach, other than ports, rumors have emerged that suggest a reboot for the Uncharted series is planned for the future.
