HoYoverse's recent hit release, Honkai: Star Rail, has been the subject of much praise due to its engaging gameplay, captivating story and world, and amusing characters. Despite their different types of gameplay, some Hoyoverse fans seem to compare Honkai: Star Rail with its predecessor, Genshin Impact, due to both games sharing similar aspects in exploration, material farming, and exploration, as well as identical gacha mechanics and other similar concepts. However, Honkai: Star Rail implements many new features and quality-of-life improvements that should have been carried out in Genshin Impact, as it seems HoYoverse learned from the flaws in its previous title.
