Resident Evil Village is a direct sequel to Resident Evil 7, but it has connections to previous games in the franchise as well.

After the end of the last game, God of War fans are wondering if Atreus will finally become playable in the game's upcoming Ragnarok sequel.

We've got a new Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade trailer to dive into and it shows off more of Ramuh's Summon, Fort Condor, a return from Dirge, and so much more. This is also the final Intergrade trailer before the game launches on June 10.

The trailer opens up with Cloud and the usual gang as they fight once more in an epic battle of survival, only to once more run into an Arbiter of Fate. But the trailer is much more than just the opening sequence, it shows off the stunning graphical enhancements made for PS5 with certain animations looking much smoother than before. Sephiroth makes yet another appearance, once more beseeching Cloud to aid him to "defy destiny."

Yuffie and the new arrivals come into the action when they realize that Plate 7 is about to drop, so they gear up and get ready to fight to help make sure that doesn't happen. But not before playing a round of Fort Condor, of course. Fort Condor is a strategic minigame that is a highly beloved facet of the Final Fantasy-verse, so to see it back is a neat little nod as to how the Remake continues to bring back what we love the most. 

Scarlett, the director of advanced weaponry, also makes another appearance, in addition to more fights against Shinra tech. The new boss fights look awesome and having Yuffie and the gang in the Remake adds a little something special for those that have already played through the remake on last-gen consoles. 

Tetsuya Nomura also revealed during a live stream event where the trailer first made its debut that Square Enix will have more to share about Final Fantasy VII Part 2 soon, but promises that development is going well and that it will have a very different atmosphere from what players experienced with the first part.

During the most recent livestream event for Final Fantasy, we received a brand new trailer for Intergrade that shows off new fights, more new faces, and the return of Fort Candor. However, we also got a small glimpse into Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 from director Tetsuya Nomura and it looks like the team might be prepping for a full reveal sooner than we thought. 

It was during the tail-end of the live stream that Nomura mentioned wanting to announce "something" about the second part of the remake but was advised to wait due to that not being approved by the other departments at the studio. But that doesn't mean we were left with nothing. Nomura did mention that development on the second part is going very well and gave a small teaser that Cloud can be seen walking through a "huge nature environment." He also added that Part 2 will have a very different atmosphere from what we saw in the Remake's first half, giving fans a tiny glimmer of excitement to cling to before we learn more.

While it's not the trailer everyone was hoping for (hi, I'm everyone), it is at least a small glimpse into what's next. For the most part, Final Fantasy VII Remake stayed true to the initial vision we all fell in love with, though that started to shift in a different direction towards the first part's conclusion. With the ending showing off a blast from Crisis Core past, what's next could be anyone's guess as far as creative takes goes, but one thing is for sure: we're excited to learn more.

Do you like pain? Then we've got the vehicle for you. While some loved the original Mako controls in the trilogy, it's fair to say that those people are unabashedly wrong. Yes, I'm mostly kidding, but we do have good news for those tied to the vanilla handling of the notorious vehicle. The Mass Effect Legendary Edition will offer the original controls as an option for those that don't want to experience the much smoother handling implemented with the remaster. 

"For those people out there who do like pain, we've left the option to leave it back kind of closer to the original controls as well if you want," environment director Kevin Meek said to PC Gamer. "Playing the Mako today versus playing the Mako back in the original, especially on PC, it's like night and day," Meek added. "I don't want to thrash my keyboard and mouse after every encounter with the thresher maw or trying to climb a mountain."

When driving the Mako in the first game, a feeling of chaos is definitely felt. For some, that chaos was good. For others, it was a source of frustration that usually ended with the vehicle being topside. Crash-landing on various worlds only to spin out of control into a pool of lava isn't the standard definition of fun, but that doesn't take away from the other in-air moments that felt nothing short of exhilarating. So what's changed? 

The original Mako design made the vehicle move at almost a snail's pace. While a speed variety was there, it varied between "Oh my GOD, drive faster" to "TOO FAST, TOO FAST." With the Legendary Edition, BioWare felt it was important to make small changes to how the vehicle operates, making it slightly more realistic in terms of a solid driving experience. 

If you missed our exclusive coverage about the Mako back in February, director Mac Walters  walked us through the various Mako changes. "The footprints of every level are quite large, but they’re also somewhat sparse,” director Mac Walters explains to us when talking about the environmental changes that Mako lovers can explore. “Part of that was the beauty of it – going out and finding these locations that had that sort of stark beauty to them. But at the same time, you couldn’t also help but feel like they could be a little bit more fleshed out."
