There are many impressive mods out there, but for those Nintendo fans itching for new Breath of the Wild 2 news, this particular mod comes at the perfect time. This Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild mod is called Second Wind and is pretty much an all-new fan-made expansion that gives new quests, NPCs, crafting, and so much more. Even better? It completely overhauls key parts of the original story, like shrines.

Why you should check out this Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild mod

The Second Wind mod is impressive. It has over 50 impassioned fans working to make this a functional reality, including detailed new NPCs to meet and new gameplay aspects to explore. Second Wind came to be when a group of players felt that Nintendo didn't properly utilize Breath of the Wild's potential. Because of that, those players took to making this particular extended option with Second Wind. It aims to tweak the existing title while adding new gaming aspects to enjoy to deliver a finalized play experience that will leave Zelda fans feeling fulfilled.

It's an interesting project, one that has been in the works for a while now. To learn more about Second Wind's journey, you can learn more with the official mod page through GameBanana right here. It's important to note that the Switch version is not moddable, this is an emulation of the Wii U version.

The Pokémon franchise has inspired some incredibly impressive fanart through the years, including crossovers that were mind-blowing (for better or worse). The latest mashup brings the Vanguard into the fray with this adorable crossover Destiny 2 Pokémon fanart.

Courtesy of the amazingly talented @LostThingy, the Destiny Vanguard has officially become cuter than ever before. Just look at that itty bitty Cayde-6 Pikachu slurpin' those noodles like he wasn't brutally murdered in cold blood. Happier times...

I think the Cayde adaptation is my personal favorite, but I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd ever call Zavala "cute." Yet, here we are. That's the power of fanart

With so much happening with Season of the Chosen in Destiny 2, especially concerning Zavala and his lingering grief over Cayde-6's death, the story surrounding Bungie's space shooter continues to get darker and darker. Pair that with the inevitable Crow reveal, and it looks like we're in for a rocky road soon.

While that tale continues on its course, the Pokémon puts a happier spin on the Destiny sequel. It also comes at the perfect time with all of the New Pokémon Snap talk recently, which is an incredibly wholesome follow up to the Snap adventure we loved back in 1999.

If you're a fan of Destiny, I highly recommend checking out this artist's other work. In the meantime, I will protect these little cuties with my life.

The free-to-play update required players to partake in a list of simple challenges to unlock fun rewards.
