Bungie disabled Trials of Osiris earlier this month in Destiny 2 when it was discovered that players were banding together for "win-trading" in order to score the W. Shortly after, the studio further detailed the removal by stating that there was still more work to be done and that the escalated PvP instance would stay gone indefinitely. It turns out that wait isn't as long as many thought, because Trials of Osiris returns tomorrow for Season of the Chosen.
In the most recent This Week At Bungie post, the studio confirmed the return of Trials, saying "We have resolved an issue that prevented the Trials of Osiris from being active the last two weekends. Trials of Osiris will be re-enabled and active at the daily reset on Friday, March 12."
While the removal of Trials bummed some out, many in the community seemed happy to see this particular part of PvP be out of the game. The problem, mainly, has to do with cheaters, doubly so for those Guardians playing on PC. While some Guardians are annoyed with being paired up against those with hacks, others feel that there hasn't been consistent messaging regarding what Osiris has to offer.
A common sentiment in the Destiny community is that some feel that if the player count is low, Bungie will switch up the Trials experience to try to bring more Guardians in. Given that Trials is incredibly challenging as part of being a Pinnacle PvP activity, new players get absolutely obliterated fairly quickly and pretty much walk away with nothing but a "I went to Trials and all I got was this lousy t-shirt" commemoration.
While this issue has been resolved, Bungie also revealed a few areas that need a little more time to fix, including:
While Bungie continues looking into new reported issues, they are all still preparing for what's ahead. From transmog to crossplay, especially an overhaul on awards, there is a lot coming to the world that Bungie built to make it an even better experience for those that enjoy the ride. Even if we're still on pins and needles about what's going to happen with The Crow.

You've seen a billion of these "feel good" stories on Facebook and Tik Tok; now they're invading the world of Vikings. One Valheim player decided to poke fun at the influx of overly dramatized videos with one of his own, and it's kind of too perfect not to share, especially when looking at how he absolutely nailed the format.
"An emotional Greyling Rescue is the feel-good story we all need right now," says u/Henloseraph. I'll be the first one to admit that when I'm doom-scrolling late at night when I should be sleeping, I will stop and watch every single video in this style despite knowing most of them are stupid and complete fluff. When I saw this player edit, I about died laughing. I'm a simple girl: I see something funny, I laugh.
An emotional Greyling Rescue is the feel-good story we all need right now. from r/valheim
For those who don't play or are still very new, Greylings are short little creatures you'll meet in Valheim. They're the younger version of the Greydwarf and just as annoying. But these aren't just little mini tree-stump-looking foes; there's actually some pretty cool lore behind them. According to said lore, Greylings are the reincarnation of sinners. Sinners don't come back as a person in their new life; instead, they come back as seeds meant to rot until they grow into Greylings. And then we kill them so we can get their stuff.
If you haven't joined the hype train yet, we can't recommend Valheim enough. It's a survival game for those who don't like survival games. I usually can't stand them; personally, I don't have the patience. Just point me at an enemy so I can kill them. I'll leave the building and blueberry gathering to others. Because of that philosophy, I'm not the best at staying involved, but Valheim has managed to keep me roped in with its enjoyable gameplay mechanics, inspired building, and oh-so-soothing music.
The community is impressive for this new game, including one player who is completely recreating Skyrim's Whiterun at a 1:1 scale.

343 Industries just dropped a new video for Zeta Zone that drops a lot of new info and answers from frequently asked questions about Halo Infinite. From more meaningful encounters to dynamic weather, there's a lot to unpack with the latest video, so let's get started!
The world of Halo Infinite is meant to be more immersive than ever before and one of the ways that the team is achieving this is with reactive and dynamic environments. Night and day cycles are not only confirmed but will affect in-game activity. This includes an effect on patrols (the night cycle will have enemies like Grunts sleeping), it will impact combat engagements, cutscenes, and so much more. 343 also added that snowstorms and thunderstorms will also be seen in Infinite, though those additions will be post-launch.
Also confirmed is that Halo Infinite's Zeta Halo ring is completely 3D rendered and offers a slight twist with eclipses seen in-game when the sun passes behind it.
Click here to watch embedded mediaAmong the questions asked is "what will stop players from grabbing a Banshee and going for an objective further in the story," 343 added that the team encourages players to do just that. There's more freedom in Halo Infinite, and that means play how you want to play, even though there is a linear touch to the story.
Some things confirmed not to be in Halo Infinite include:
If you're like me and love to explore, the video also goes into some of the different biomes players will trudge through, including the primary biome which is the Pacific Northwest. From swamps to the "Deadlands," the studio wanted to incorporate a more diverse world to experience with Halo Infinite. For Skyrim lovers, there are even a ton of caves to go diving in. You know you love it.
With Gears studio The Coalition on board to help with development following the delay from the Xbox Series X launch date, it looks like development may be back on track and hopefully we'll get a solidified release date soon.
