Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, the latest from Life is Strange developer Don't Nod Entertainment, hits PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in February. Ahead of its release early next year, the studio released a new cinematic trailer to highlight the game's narrative at The Game Awards 2023.
While Banishers features intense action-RPG gameplay, it's also a Don't Nod game, which means players can expect a heavy emphasis on storytelling. And tonight's trailer speaks to that.
Check out the latest Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden cinematic trailer for yourself below:
"New Eden, 1695: Antea and Red are lovers and Banishers, trained spirit-hunters protecting people from lingering specters," a press release reads. "But when tragedy strikes and Antea herself becomes a ghost, will you honor your Banisher oath or sacrifice the living in a desperate bid to bring your beloved back?"

Jurassic Park fans got a nice surprise during The Game Awards with the reveal of a new game called Jurassic Park Survival. The cinematic trailer shows a young woman named Dr. Maya Joshi, an InGen scientist left behind on Isla Nublar in the immediate aftermath of the first film – one day after the park collapses, in fact.
Players explore the open world of Isla Nublar, which teems with a variety of newly escaped dinosaurs in a fully reactive world. Stealth seems to be more emphasized with combat, as players must use their intelligence, skills, and wit to outsmart and avoid John Hammond's prehistoric creations.
Jurassic Park Survival has no release window, but it's coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons, the award-winning 2013 indie from developer Starbreeze Studios, is getting remade. Italy-based developer Avantgarden, the team behind 2017's Last Day Of June and formerly named Ovosonico, is handling the remake and building it in Unreal Engine 5. Original publisher 505 Games is publishing the remake, which hits PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on February 28, as well.
505 Games says original Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons director, Josef Fares, who later founded Hazelight Studios, which won Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2021 for It Takes Two, has endorsed the remake.

The next game from acclaimed indie developer Daniel Mullins is Pony Island 2: Panda Circus. Announced during The Game Awards, as you might expect from the creator of Pony Island and Inscryption, we have far more questions than answers.
Here's what we saw: a 3D adventure game that turns into a classic-looking 2D point-and-click adventure game. Voice actor and popular internet guy SungWon "ProZD" Cho is in the game during live-action segments. And a whole host of genre-hopping gameplay. It's a lot.
Check it out for yourself below:
Pony Island 2: Panda Circus is probably going to be released in 2025 or 2026, but the trailer doesn't make it clear. Mullins is coming off the critically beloved and aforementioned Inscryption – one of our favorite games of 2021.
