A new month means a new Fortnite Crew pack. Rather than pull from an outside franchise, Fortnite has decided to create a skin using its own IP this time around. Say hello to the Llambro.
Introduced in the current Season 5, the Fortnite Crew subscription service offers players exclusive skins, back blings, wraps, and harvesting tools every month. The $11.99 monthly subscription fee also includes guaranteed access to the current Battle Pass, in addition to a monthly stipend of 1,000 V-Bucks.

Detailed on Fortnite's official website, the horned llama Llambro will be the Fortnite Crew skin for the month of March. The anthropomorphic Llambro looks like it's based directly off of the battle royale's Loot Llamas, sporting a similar head and color scheme. Beyond the Llambro Outfit the crew pack also comes with the Up North Back Bling, which looks like a cross between a climbing and rave backpack, and the Puffcorn Pick Pickaxe, which bears a striking resemblance to the Cosmic Llamacorn pickaxe of the inaugural Fortnite Crew pack. For the wrap, players will be getting The Llegend Wrap, which gives equipped weapons and vehicles a vivid prismatic color scheme.
While Llambro is the cosmetic skin for March, players who sign up by the end of the month will also gain access to February's Fortnite Crew skin Vi. Vi was the focus of heavy speculation several weeks ago, when Fortnite updated its Twitter handle logo to a familiar-looking fox head. One of the leading theories was that the acclaimed "Drift" skin was returning, as some of the Tweets directly mentioned the character and he was one of the figures in the background. While it's obviously been disproven since, Vi's description includes "Fox Clan's last hope" which lends to theories that Drift and Vi have an important role to play in Fortnite's mysterious narrative.
Llambro's bright color scheme and goofy-looking llama head should make for an attractive offer for a lot of Fortnite's fanbase. The look of Llambro appears to be inspired directly from the Brite Bomber skin and Rainbow Smash pickaxe, both of which feature a blue-skinned unicorn-llama with a purple mohawk. This could potentially pale in comparison to another skin rumored to be coming, which is none other than Family Guy's Peter Griffin.
The Llamabro skin looks like a fun addition to Epic Games' popular battle royale title. However, there are plenty of more casual Fortnite players who aren't willing to spend money on an otherwise free-to-play game. If players would rather spend time looking for llamas over being one, a leaker has revealed locations where Loot Llamas most likely appear. The Llambro pack will go live at approximately 7pm ET on February 28.
Fortnite is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
