Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 introduced NPCs that can be found all over the map, offering bounties, weapons, even useful items to help players.

Fortnite seasons are always packed with challenges, secrets, and activities to keep players busy. Chapter 2 Season 5 introduced NPCs that can be found all over the map, offering players a way to get new weapons, earn important resources, and even find out information on the locations of their fellow players. With over 40 of them to find, tracking down each individual NPC can be a tough task.

One of those NPCs, Mave, also acts as one of the skins from the Fortnite Battle Pass. While getting a Mave skin from the Battle Pass is simply a matter of leveling up the Battle Pass to level 41, finding Mave on the map is a different story, and players will need to know exactly where to go to track her down.

Players that are searching for Mave will need to make their to the southeast corner of the map, near Shipwreck Cove. This area is not a named location, so it can be a little awkward to find, but it is located directly southeast of Catty Corner. Just to the east of Shipwreck Cove is a mountainous area that contains some scattered houses and a large standing stone. Mave can be found patrolling the area near this stone, walking a route from the stone to a small campsite near the coast.

Mave can sell players the Exotic Storm Scout Rifle for 500 Gold Bars or may be hired to accompany players during the map for 100 Gold Bar. Hiring NPCs means they will fight alongside players until they are eliminated or the match ends. She can also give quests that can involve simple acts like opening chests or going for a swim or Elimination Bounties that require players to track down an opponent and take them out before anyone else can.

While they are in the area, players might want to go down into Shipwreck Cove to finish up one of the seasonal epic quests. Among the various shipwrecks' debris, they can find family portraits that need to be collected, earning 20,000 XP toward their Battle Pass in the process.

Finally, it is a good idea to track down any XP Coins that are in the area, another great way for players to fully rank up their Battle Pass before the end of the season. As the season counts down towards the final weeks, players are running out of time to potentially unlock the secret Sapphire, Topaz, and Zero Point skins that are up for grabs.

Fortnite is free-to-play for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
