As players explore the map in Fortnite Season 6, they may come across some chests with "Week 7" scrawled across the top. While the exact meaning of these words, as they relate to the chests, is currently unknown, there is one thing that is confirmed: these containers are great sources for Epic and Legendary gear. Fortnite players will thus want to loot these secret chests whenever they are near to one, and this guide will assist with exactly that.

In prefacing of detailing the locations of the chests, there are two things that are worth mentioning. The first is that activating Visualize Sound Effects from within Audio settings makes zeroing in on these containers much easier, as it provides very clear indication when one is nearby. The second is that players will need to extract the chests marked as "buried in the ground," and that is done by hitting the mounds of earth several times with a Harvesting Tool in Fortnite.

2. Inside of Stack Shack off the west coast.
3. Underneath the stairs on the ground floor of the wooden structure.

7. In the storm cellar at the southeast corner of Pleasant Park.
8. Behind a bed in an attic at the southeast corner of Sweaty Sands.
9. Buried in the ground southwest of Boney Burbs.
10. Behind the computer terminals in the server room in northwest Weeping Woods.
11. Buried in the ground south of Lazy Lake.
12. Buried in the ground west of Retail Row.
13. In an attic at the southwest corner of Retail Row.
14. Behind the washer and dryer on the ground floor of a house southwest of Misty Meadows.
15. In the cellar of the building at the southwest corner of Camp Cod.
16. In an attic at the southeast corner of the map.
17. In a garage on the west side of Craggy Cliffs.
18. In an attic at the northeast corner of the map.
19. Underground near the center of Steamy Stacks.
20. Buried in the ground south of Steamy Stacks.

To note, players may not receive an Epic or Legendary item absolutely every time that they loot one of these chests. Still, they are sure to be of interest to many fans, as procuring a powerful weapon quickly can prove to be a big advantage, and indeed Fortnite players should expect some amount of opposition if they attempt to loot one of these chests.
