Most Genshin Impact players are probably familiar with Liyue Harbor now that the game has been out for some time. It's also featured heavily in Genshin Impact's 1.3 update trailer. The players' character, Aether, travels around the harbor at night with Paimon, marveling at the beautiful glowing lanterns and fireworks bursting overhead. While Liyue Harbor is stunning in the trailer, the real-life miniature recreation of the harbor is impressive in its own way.

Perhaps the best aspect of the miniature Liyue Harbor recreation is its attention to detail. The build looks like a near-exact recreation of the harbor, complete with miniature versions of the various stalls, barrels, and wooden boxes adorning the pier. The entire build is 3D printed using in-game model heights from characters to recreate the harbor to scale. Liyue is one of Genshin Impact's most beautiful regions to explore, so seeing the harbor brought to life is sure to be incredible for players.

Those who have spent hours traveling through Liyue Harbor in-game can probably pinpoint exact locations in the miniature and match them up with the version in Genshin Impact. Most Genshin Impact players will know that the game's nations are inspired by real-world nations, with Liyue being based on China. Genshin Impact players have even made a pronunciation guide for the Liyue region to help players who want to accurately pronounce the various location and character names.

Considering miHoYo is a Chinese-based developer, the team must be proud of all the fan art that gets created around Liyue and the characters that from that region. It also seems that miHoYo is proud of Liyue, considering the harbor is featured on Genshin Impact's Year of the Ox greeting cards. Perhaps miHoYo will see this miniature recreation and respond in some way, but regardless it's an impressive display of creativity and dedication that any Genshin Impact fan can appreciate.

Genshin Impact is available now on the App Store, Google Play, PC, and PS4, and is currently in development for PS5 and Switch.
