In the second stage of the Lantern Rite Festival, Genshin Impact players are once again tasked with finding the treasure chests that have been organized by the Adventurers Guild for Brother Qian. While this quest may share many similarities with the first Illumiscreen, several new obstacles await Genshin Impact players on their quest for the precious chests.
Before players can accept the "Illumiscreen II" Lantern Tale, they must reach the Festive Fever stage of "Guest Flock From Afar." To unlock the fever stage, players must complete all Lantern Tales in the previous "We've only just begun" stage, in addition to completing the "Currents Deep Beneath the Lanterns" world quest.

After accepting the "Illumiscreen II" Lantern Tale, head to the docks in Liyue Harbor and speak with Brother Qian. Unlike the first Illumiscreen Lantern Tale, in Illumiscreen II, players can only speak to Brother Qian at night between 21:00 -05:00.
After speaking with Brother Qian, the player must then rotate the lanterns to project the location of the treasure onto the Illumiscreen. While the previous Illumiscreen quest had players projecting the shape of a Glaze Lily onto the Illumiscreen, in part 2 of the quest, players must form the shape of a Mora coin.
To form the shape of the coin, interact with the middle lantern first, followed by the lantern on the right, and then the lantern on the left. After the correct shape is projected onto the illumiscreen, the player must interact with the screen for the three treasure locations to track on the in-game map.
The first treasure chest can be found in Huaguang Stone Forest on top of a tall rock formation. To easily reach the chest, teleport to the waypoint directly south of Mt. Aozang, and glide to the rock formation.
After reaching the rock formation, the player must start and complete the challenge in the center of the area. To complete the challenge, simply glide up the air current, and shoot one of the exploding barrels before the timer reaches zero. Once the challenge has been completed, a precious chest will spawn for the player to claim.
The second chest location can be found in Jueyun Karst next to an abandoned house. To reach the chest, teleport to the waypoint northeast of Jueyun Karst and glide down to the quest marker location.
Unlike the previous precious chest location, this chest is heavily guarded by several hilichurls that the player will need to defeat before claiming the chest. After defeating the hilichurls, players will notice a small marker next to a dirt path that will dig up the precious chest.
The final -and most challenging- chest can be found southeast of the Wangshu Inn. When players reach the chest's location, they will notice that it is blocked by an extremely tall anemo barrier.
To access the final chest the player must lure three Seelies to the rock totems around the anemo barrier. The first Seelie can be found on the small island northeast of the chest's location. The second Seelie can be found surrounded by thorns to the northwest, and the final Seelie can be found to the southeast.
After all three Seelies are returned to the anemo barrier an updraft will be created that players can use to access the precious chest. Players need to simply return to Brother Qian to complete the quest and receive their 30 primogem reward.
