Genshin Impact players can find out how to clear the floral debris in the Festive Anecdote Quest 'Those Hard-to-Reach Places' in this short guide.

As the Windblume Festival continues, there is no shortage of quests and activities for Genshin Impact players to complete.  While most players may be spending their time grinding tickets in The Peculiar Wonderland or Festival Challenges, there are several citizens of Mondstadt in desperate need of the Traveller's assistance.

As in previous limited-time event updates, Genshin Impact's Windblume Festival contains several unique world quests that players can complete called "Festive Anecdotes." These world quests are released every two days, as phases in groups of three, and offer players several lucrative rewards upon their completion.

To unlock the "Those Hard-to-reach Places" quest, players must first complete the Windblume Festival introductory quest " Ode to Flower and Cloud."  After unlocking the quest, players must then speak to Armis who is located near the Mondstadt Cathedral and requires the Traveller's help with cleaning the floral debris that has resulted from the festival's decorations.

In order to successfully clear the floral debris from the various locations across Mondstadt, players must equip an Anemo-spec character to their party, and activate their elemental skills/bursts on the piles of debris. Anemo characters who can effectively clear the debris include; Jean Venti, Sucrose, and Xiao.

If the player does not have any of the aforementioned characters in their roster, they are still able to clear the debris with the Traveller by switching their element to anemo. If the player's Traveller is geo-spec, simply head to the Statue of the Seven in Mondstadt and select "Resonate with Anemo".

It is important to note that this change is not permanent, and players can easily return their Traveller to geo spec by visiting the Statue of the Seven in Liyue and repeating the same process. After selecting the option, players will now have an anemo skill and burst that they will be able to clear the floral debris with.

To complete the quest, players must clear debris that is scattered about three locations across the rooftops in Mondstadt. The first and third locations contain three piles of debris, while the second contains four. After clearing the final set of debris, Paimon will mention to the player that they notice the sound of a cat somewhere on the castle wall that they should investigate.  To find the stray cat, players must maneuver around the watchtower by the last set of debris in order to reach the cat on the opposite side.

After locating the cat, players need to return to Aramis in order to complete the quest and receive 20 primogems, 2 heroes wit, and 20,000 mora.

Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, and PS4, with PS5 and Switch versions in development.
