Genshin Impact players progressing through the new Wishful Drops event can find out how to catch Ocenid Creatures with Endora's Skill in this guide.

With Genshin Impact's Contending Tides event coming to its conclusion, players already have a new event to enjoy in the form of Wishful Drops. Unlike previous events, which predominantly focused on combat-based challenges, in Wishful Drops Genshin Impact players are tasked with catching Oceanid creatures in a Pokemon-esque fashion.

To start the event, players must first accept the Life Flows On world quest which tasks the Traveller with investigating the water supply at Dawn Winery. After arriving at the location, players will find that the water has turned bitter with no clear solution in sight.

Players will be tasked with investigating the water supply and in doing so must defeat a group of slimes that will unlock an Oceanid creature named Endora. Unlike the other Oceanid creatures, Endora appears to be intelligent and requests that the Traveller aid her in uncovering the source of the water's corruption.

In the Wishful Drops event, players must travel to set locations and use Endora's Bubble Spit ability to catch a variety of Oceanid creatures to better understand the reasons for the water turning bitter. Like previous events, exploration locations unlock every 24 hrs and completing a location rewards players with 60 primogems, 30,000 mora and 1 heart of the spring.

In order to successfully catch the various Oceanid creatures in the areas, there are several steps that players must follow. The first step requires that players equip "Inquisitive Endora" from the gadget menu.

After equipping Inquisitive Endora, players will now see (on the right hand of the screen) the option to activate Endora by pressing "Z" on PC or "L1+O" on PS4/PS5. Once Endora has been equipped, players will now find that their elemental skills have been replaced by an icon of Endora which will active her "Bubble Spit" ability.

When using the ability, Endora will appear and allow players to shoot a bubble at Oceanid creatures that, if hit, will catch them. It is important to note that the longer players hold down the ability, the farther the bubble will shoot.

While fans of the Pokemon series may be tempted to try to weaken the various Oceanid creatures before attempting to catch them, this is not required. Once an Oceanid creature is hit with the bubble they will be immediately caught regardless of what their health percentage is.

For every creature caught, the investigation percentage in the area will increase and once players reach 100% in a specific area, they will receive the reward previously stated. After completing their daily investigation it is also recommended that players don't forget to use their Heart of the Spring reward, which is used to claim the rewards after taking on the newly revamped Rhodesia boss fight.

Genshin Impact is available for Mobile, PC, and PS4, with PS5 and Switch versions in development.
