Brawl Stars' sixth season is expected to start up soon, and new patch notes reveal Brawlers, skins, events, and bug fixes coming to the game.

Brawl Stars finishes its fifth season on April 12, and the freemium game's sixth season is expected to start up shortly thereafter. With the date fast approaching, the Brawl Stars developer has taken to the game's official blog to detail what fans can expect when season six goes live.

For the uninitiated, Brawl Stars is a 2017 mobile game from Supercell, the makers of the popular Clash of Clans games, that finds players competing against friends, strangers, and AI opponents in multiplayer arena battles with several different game modes to choose from. Seasons were introduced to the game in 2020, with each season being themed around new, unique Brawler characters.

Season six, officially title The Gold Armed Gang, will introduce two new Brawlers; an outlaw, Chromatic Brawler called Belle and a new alien Mythic Brawler called Squeak. Based on their specs, Belle appears to be a long-range attacker whereas Squeak mainly deals short-range damage. The update will also come with a plethora of new skins, pins, and animations for many characters, including a new face animation for the legendary Brawler known as Sandy.

On top of new seasonal events like Golden Week and Lantern Brawl, the update will also adjust some of the character's stats to better balance them out. Most of the adjustments are minor, but there are a few big changes like Jacky's Counter Crush range being increased by 33%. Lastly, a few tiny bugs will be fixed in the season six update. While small compared to the huge list of bugs cleaned out from Hearthstone, Blizzard's mobile game, with its latest patch, it's still a respectable list of fixes that will help keep Brawl Stars as fun and smooth to play as possible.

Brawl Stars is available now for Android and iOS.
