Call of Duty: Warzone players are experiencing a glitch that has come up in the past, allowing downed players to shoot with their primary weapon.

Call of Duty: Warzone players have encountered several glitches since it released just over a year ago, but this new glitch allows players to shoot others with their primary weapons while down as opposed to pulling out the less reliable pistol.

Redditors zer0dark30 and ActivisionSD discovered that this glitch has returned to Call of Duty: Warzone with a twist. In order for players to pull out their primary weapon after being downed, they will have to use a spray at the exact right time and even if it's pulled off correctly. Even when timing the spray precisely, the glitch may not always register which confirms that it's an unintended side effect of sprays.

Zer0dark30 and ActivisionSD quickly took to Reddit after experiencing two glitches at the same time in a game of Call of Duty: Warzone in which the enemy was missing their head and the Redditors could shoot them with their primary weapon after being downed. This glitch has come up in Warzone in the past, but it looks like Raven Software continues to struggle with removing it from the game. While nobody has been banned for utilizing this glitch, it's possible that if players repeatedly exploit it they may be punished. There doesn't seem to be a specific spray linked to this glitch, allowing players of all types to shoot enemies with their primary weapons after being downed.

Fans of Call of Duty: Warzone have been enjoying a new season of content since Season 2 released in February, but many of them are likely frustrated by the prevalence of glitches and hackers. While Raven Software has banned plenty of players since Warzone released, plenty of others continue to exploit issues in the game and they can create new accounts thanks to the free nature of the battle royale. Many of the bugs in Warzone end up being funny and harmless, but this glitch that allows players to shoot with their primary weapons after being downed is annoying a small portion of the community. Considering the precise timing required to utilize this glitch, it's unlikely that most players will master this trick before it's fixed again.

Many players who have encountered primary weapon fire after downing an opponent are on the receiving end, but it's likely that this glitch will allow other players who would've otherwise lost a match of Warzone to exact revenge on their enemies.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available right now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
