Stormind Games, the team behind Remothered: Tormented Fathers and its recent sequel, Remothered: Broken Porcelain, has announced that it's working on a new game. Titled Batora: Lost Haven, the fresh IP looks to be a massive departure for the studio, stepping away from its horror focused roots for the first time since its formation back in 2016.
The game, which is described as a "story-driven action RPG" on its Steam page, takes place in a fantasy setting and is said to utilize a unique style of combat akin to a twin-stick shooter. Players assume the role of Avril, a teenage girl with magical powers who is forced to fight to reclaim earth after it's invaded by evil monsters.

Alongside the announcement, Stormind Games has provided a trailer, showcasing some small clips of gameplay and a better look at Avril and her foes. The game itself looks to be an action-packed fantasy experience, with Avril going toe to toe with large creatures and hordes of other monsters. The game doesn't have a release date just yet, but it will be hitting PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
Stormind Games' last outing was heralded as a disappointing showcase for the studio, with Remothered: Broken Porcelain launching as a buggy mess with some severe technical issues. It seems the team is looking to pick itself up and dust itself off with Batora: Lost Haven, which looks to be its most expansive project yet.
Batora: Lost Haven is in development for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
