After trailers detailing each class in the game, Hood: Outlaws and Legends gets an epic overview trailer showing off all of its PvPvE action.

Last month, Hood: Outlaws and Legends received several trailers showing off each playable class in the game and how they contribute to a heist team's goals. Whether players choose to be shadowy sniper via the Ranger class or the team healer/spellcaster with Hood: Outlaws and Legends' Mystic class, a team must be able to deal with both AI enemies and an opposing group of outlaws in order to successfully steal treasure. The latest trailer for the game puts all the pieces together and gives an overview of what it takes to become legendary thieves in a violent medieval world.

The PvPvE combat is probably the most discussed aspect of Hood: Outlaws and Legends, and gamers are hopeful that it will be as good as it looks in teaser trailers. Developer Sumo Digital must make PvE interactions just as thrilling as PvP combat but also keep a healthy balance between heist objectives and killing members of the opposing team. Hood: Outlaws and Legends has a ton of potential to create fun, endlessly replayable heists, and this most recent trailer outlines everything players will need to remember to make each heist count.

Heists take place in medieval castles and strongholds, and they begin with each team of 4 players picking their respective classes. Hidden somewhere in these medieval mazes is a chest of treasure, which is guarded by men at arms and the notorious Sheriff. Both teams vying for the treasure chest in Hood: Outlaws and Legends must infiltrate a stronghold and capture spawn points while trying to steal the key from the Sheriff. But this will be no easy task considering the Sheriff is always protected by guards and may be able to kill a character with a single blow.

Once a team finds the treasure vault and steals the chest, they will have to get the chest out of the stronghold. This portion of a heist might be the trickiest for Sumo Digital to keep tense and engaging. Although Hood: Outlaws and Legends' combat is fast-paced, one player is going to have to hulk that chest to the extraction point. This means their combat abilities are going to be pretty limited during that time. Once a team reaches the extraction point, certain team members will have to spend time spinning a lever over and over to get the chest out while the others engage in combat.

Although a team will likely be able to switch members out on winching duty, it's still going to be a tough task to make these moments fun for every team member. Still, Hood: Outlaws and Legends has a promising concept and gamers won't have to wait too much longer to try out the heist PvPvE gameplay. Hood: Outlaws and Legends will release on May 10, one of several new video game releases in May that should have gamers excited about the upcoming month.

Hood: Outlaws & Legends releases May 10 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
