The Sims 4's Paranormal Stuff Pack is all about ghosts, and indeed it is possible to come in direct contact with a number of specters. One of the ghosts that players can interact with in this new DLC is named Claude Rene Duplantier Guidry, but certain conditions must be met before that can be done. For those players that would like more details on exactly how to summon Guidry in The Sims 4, those can be found in this guide.
To begin, the fastest way to visit with Guidry is to inhabit a Haunted House, a brand new lot designation that is featured in The Sims 4's Paranormal Stuff Pack. To make this designation, players simply need to enter Build/Buy, click the house icon at the top-left corner to expand the Lot Info dropdown, and then select Haunted House Residential from the Lot Type list. Notably, fans can also view the features associated with the Haunted House by clicking the gear icon at the top of the dropdown.

Now all a player needs to do is wait until 9pm on their second night in the Haunted House, as that is when Guidry will appear for the very first time. While fans are free to explore all of the possible interactions with the friendly ghost during this initial visit, that is certainly not requisite. Indeed, Guidry's arrival should become a nightly occurrence moving forward, though The Sims 4 players can prevent that by using the Helping Hand statue that can be obtained through Build/Buy.
Alternatively, fans that prefer not to live in a Haunted House can summon Guidry directly with the help of The Sims 4's Seance Table. This new item can be purchased for just $333, but fans will not be able use it immediately to invoke Guidry's arrival. Instead, players will first need to spend time developing their Medium skill at the Seance Table, as some paranormal proficiency is required in order to summon Guidry.
Earning the ability to call upon Guidry is not the only reason to become a better Medium, though, as more seances become available as the skill is increased. Additionally, players that reach maximum Medium skill can parlay that into a Paranormal Investigator's License, which comes from Guidry himself. While it is true that fans can also purchase the ability to become a Paranormal Investigator in The Sims 4 with reward points, earning a license by way of Medium skill is the recommended approach.
