The appreciation posts naturally come in all shapes and sizes, from individuals with personal Twitter accounts to content creators with large followings. One content creator going by the name Clemps made an appreciation post, thinking back to the Drakengard and Nier content he made for "a small crowd of people" which ended up helping him hone his skills in content creation.

Additionally, another content creator going by the name TheJettyJetShow posted fanart of Kaine, who is one of Nier Replicant's companion characters. The Nier topic on Twitter is filled with thousands of individuals sharing similar posts, all posting about their appreciation for the original title and their excitement for the upcoming remake.

For those who may not be familiar with the original title, it released back in 2010 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 under the name Nier in North America. In Japan, the original game was titled Nier Gestalt, with an alternate version called Nier Replicant releasing exclusively in Japan. This alternate version was largely the same game but changed the main character's appearance and his relationship to the character Yonah.

While 2021's Nier Replicant is undoubtedly one of the biggest games of April 2021, there is certainly a lot of history that newcomers may want to familiarize themselves with before it launches later this month.

Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 23rd, 2021.
