Pokemon Masters EX is getting a new solo event called 'The Trials on the Isle,' celebrating various playable characters from the Alola region.

Pokemon Masters EX has gotten a ton of playable characters in the form of Sync Pairs, which are the combination of one Pokemon and their trainer. For example, earlier this year Pokemon Masters introduced Leon and Charizard, who many players will recognize from Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Now, Pokemon Masters is set to launch a brand-new solo event that will celebrate a select group of Sync Pairs from the Alola region. Specifically, the "Trials on the Isle" event, which launches in Pokemon Masters EX on April 14, will introduce two new Sync Pairs in the form of Elio and Popplio and Selene and Rowlet.

The event will see various Alolan Trial captains creating new and improved versions of Alola's Akala Island trials. For players who remember Pokemon Sun and MoonAkala Island features three separate trials which culminate in a Kahuna battle with Rock-type specialist Olivia. Pokemon Masters EX's "Trials on the Isle" event will involve those three Akala Island captains: Lana, Mallow, and Kiawe. During the event, players can take part in two new Scouts which will focus on either Elio and Popplio or Selene and Rowlet.

Though the two new Sync Pairs haven't been officially detailed as of this writing, Pokemon news website Serebii.net has provided detailed explanations of both Sync Pairs. Elio and Popplio will act as a support pair, with Popplio having access to Water Gun, X Sp. Def All, Sing, and 'We've Got Tricks!' The pairs' Sync Move is Water Sync Beam, which maxes out at about 200 damage.

Selene and Rowlet will act as a strike pair, with Rowlet knowing Tackle, X Attack, Leaf Blade, and 'Stare 'Em Down!' Their Sync Move is Grass Sync Impact, which also does about 200 damage. Hopefully, players have good luck recruiting both Elio and Selene during this upcoming event.

Pokemon Masters EX is available now for Android and iOS devices.
