According to the latest rumors and 'leaks,' PC and PlayStation 5 ports of Bloodborne are in development for release later this year.

Since last year, rumors have been swirling that the PlayStation 4 exclusive game Bloodborne would be making its way to other platforms. Nothing official has been announced to date, but a supposed leaker has doubled down on their claims that Bloodborne ports are in the works, insisting that the game will be playable on new platforms at some point this coming September.

This leak comes from CrazyLeaksOnATrain, a Twitter user who seems to have accurately leaked video game news in the past. They don't provide any evidence to back up their claims, but say that Bloodborne PS5 and PC ports are likely coming in September. CrazyLeaksOnATrain says that Bloodborne is next in line after the Days Gone PC port, which they believe to be launching around June of this year.

Since CrazyLeaksOnATrain doesn't provide any evidence to back up their claims, fans should take this information with a massive grain of salt. They refer to it as a Bloodborne remaster, hinting that it will be more than a simple port, but stops short of providing specifics as to what that would actually entail. In any case, fans should keep their expectations in check until an official announcement comes from Sony.

This is hardly the first time that a Bloodborne PC or PS5 port has been mentioned. Online retailers have leaked Bloodborne ports in the past, and Sony itself has outright said that it intends on bringing its games to PC. Considering this, it seems like it's only a matter of time before Bloodborne PC and PS5 ports surface, though it's unclear if CrazyLeaksOnATrain's timeline can be believed at the time of this writing.

With Sony bringing some of its biggest games to PC, it wouldn't be surprising at all for Bloodborne to make the leap as well. Sony has already released Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, and it's confirmed a Days Gone PC port as well. Bringing these games to PC will potentially grow the audiences for the games significantly, which could in turn make them more interested in picking up a PlayStation console to play their likely sequels whenever they came out.

Of course, a Bloodborne sequel hasn't been confirmed either, but like the PC and PS5 ports of the original game, that seems like a highly likely possibility. Bloodborne earned rave reviews and had strong sales on PS4, and so one would think that a sequel will materialize at some point down the line.

Bloodborne is out now, exclusively for PS4.
