It has become something of a meme to say that Insomniac Games' Marvel's Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales make players "feel like Spider-Man," but it's certainly true that the developer captures a lot of what people enjoy about the web-slinger. One aspect that stands out for many is the variety of suits Peter Parker and Miles Morales can put on referencing the original comics, movies, and more. There are rumors that Spider-Man 2 will include the symbiote suit, and one fan took it upon themselves to draw how it could look.
The all-black symbiote suit was first introduced in the eighth issue of the 1984 limited comic series Secret Wars, according to Marvel, and it has gone on to be one of the superhero's most famous looks. It has shown up in movies such as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 (2007), and the symbiote Venom from which it gets its named received his own film in 2018. Symbiote suit Spider-Man is one of the few outfits not in Insomniac's games that fans really want to see.

To that end, Reddit user rishabh_bhatia7 uploaded a series of pictures to r/SpidermanPS4 today depicting what it might look like if Peter Parker donned the symbiote suit in a Marvel's Spider-Man sequel. The images clearly depict Insomniac's original suit with white tech over the hands that carry on once Venom envelops him, and the logo on his chest is elongated over where blue lines rest on the basic suit.
The style of the pieces are compelling, capturing a comic book aesthetic with glitching artifacts and 3D-styled color layering using reds and blues. On top of Spider-Man, the artist also has fan art based on games like Supergiant Games' Hades and shows like Adventure Time uploaded to Reddit and Instagram.
With rumors about the symbiote suit appearing in an upcoming Insomniac Spider-Man game, Rishabh is not the only person offering their take on what it might look like. Reddit user kiwicifer also created a symbiotic Spider-Man concept last month, for example, that leans more into blending the black suit with red highlights.
Spider-Man suits are part of what best define Insomniac Games' duology, to the extent that post-launch updates for Spider-Man: Miles Morales have included the Advanced Tech suit among other features. Whether the developer includes a symbiote suit in the next entry or not, it's clear fans want to see the friendly neighborhood superhero swing around New York in as many outfits as possible.
