To get the achievement 'A Private Moment' in Hitman 3, players must photograph Alexa Carlisle venting her frustrations in a secure location.

Hitman 3 is the final chapter in the World of Assassination incarnation of IO Interactive's Hitman franchise. As the current swan song of the series, it's done very well, already turning a profit for its developer.

While there are only six missions in Hitman 3, each one consists of a sprawling, intricate level filled with possibilities. Each mission comes with a series of challenges, many of them related to certain disguises or methods of assassination. Not all of these are violent in nature, however, and the Dartmoor challenge "A Private Moment" requires players to draw on their inner paparazzi. Here's a quick guide to completing the challenge.

For most of the challenges presented, players are told explicitly what they must do, usually in the form of who must be killed and how. However, for A Private Moment, the requirements are redacted, giving only the image of Alexa Carlisle, the mission's target, sitting in a chair with crosshairs on her. Surprisingly, this is not an indication that players must kill her, but rather snap a photo of her as she's talking to the body of Zachary, her younger brother and the subject of the mission's murder investigation. Of course, no one will like the invasion of privacy if 47 is discovered, so have an escape method like the Dartmoor boat key handy.

The Carlisle manor, as one might expect, is a fortress, with guards all over the place. Lots of people are scurrying about, and to get the achievement quickly, players must take drastic measures right off the bat. See, Alexa is going to talk to an investigator she hired, and he will then investigate the scene where players need her to be alone. So first off: shoot the investigator from a safe spot, somewhere 47 won't be immediately discovered. Then sneak into the house (preferably through the incredibly convenient open window near the parked cars). Keep in mind, this will essentially lock off the detective disguise for this run, possibly preventing earning the Family Feud achievement.

Once inside, grab a waitstaff uniform. This can be done by turning on a vacuum and waiting in the nearby supply closet. Once someone comes looking, knock them out, stash the body, and slip on the disguise. Head upstairs and look for a guard by himself in the hallway. Take him down quick before others show up, then stash his body nearby and take his outfit. From there, go to the bedroom. There's a fake book in the bookshelf. Pull it to reveal a secret room, hide in it, and close the shelf. There's a peephole here that will also allow players to get the Peeping 47 challenge. Wait until Alexa and her bodyguard are inside, then, as she starts monologuing, open the bookshelf and subdue her bodyguard. Snap a photo of her, and that's the challenge. It should be noted that, even with the detective dead, players can take out Alexa in creative ways like Final Resting Place, provided they can scare off the birds in the graveyard.

Of course, this is not the only route, though it is a very direct one. Secret passages, murder, and private moments of grief are all elements that combine to make Dartmoor, in some players' esteem, the best level in the World of Assassination trilogy. Each player will have to decide for themselves if this is true, but it's definitely worth a look.

Hitman 3 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
