A brand-new weapon called the Sykov is available now in Call of Duty: Warzone, and it might just be the most overpowered gun in the game.

Call of Duty: Warzone players are always looking for the best guns to use so that they can get an edge over the competition, and before long, everyone may be using the Sykov. A new Call of Duty: Warzone pistol that leaked several months ago, the gun is already proving that it is worth the wait.

The Sykov came to Call of Duty: Warzone yesterday, and gamers quickly realized that the gun is overpowered. Tearing through armor and killing players faster than the once-dominant FFAR, the secondary weapon has instantly found itself in the new meta. However, while the default version of the pistol is strong, certain attachments are required to make the gun truly deadly. As such, players should use the following setup on their Sykov if they want the best possible version of the gun.

First, the Sorokin 140mm Auto barrel is a must, as it makes the gun fully automatic. Considering that a major part of what makes the Sykov broken is this full-auto potential, any loadout for the Sykov should make use of the attachment. As always, a Monolithic Suppressor is a must-have. Like with every other Call of Duty: Warzone gun, this silencer boosts damage range and keeps players off enemy radars — something that is crucial to succeeding inside Verdansk or Rebirth Island.

Next up, players will want to make sure that their weapon is as accurate as possible. This is not too challenging, as the leaked version of the Sykov showed players that accuracy was another one of the handgun’s strengths. Still, a 5mW laser is worth using, especially with the other important attachment equipped. If full auto was not ridiculous enough, combining it with a second pistol makes the gun even stronger. Aw such, akimbo Sykovs are the way to go, and players will find that they thrive at close range.

Finally, Call of Duty: Warzone fans will want to use the 80 Round Drum magazine for the pair of pistols. With each gun having 80 bullets to fire in the direction of enemies, there will be no reason to reload until a gunfight is won. Instantly giving the Sykov the ability to wipe out an entire squad, let alone one enemy, the sheer number of rounds that gamers can fire in the direction of their opponents makes these guns even better. Having no real downside, this pistol will likely be seen in every Call of Duty: Warzone match until a nerf of some kind is made.

  • Barrel: Sorokin 140mm Auto
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Laser: 5mW Laser
  • Ammunition: 80 Round Drum
  • Perk: Akimbo

When paired with the M16 tactical rifle, Call of Duty: Warzone fans could not be better equipped for every situation they can find themselves in. With a burst weapon providing ranged offense and the Sykov dominating at close quarters, there is currently no better setup in the free-to-play game.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
