Destiny 2: Beyond Light brought a slew of features to the game, including maps, subclasses, and gear. Part of experiencing the new content involves taking on a quest after completing the expansion's main story. Since beating the House of Salvation Platoon is part of the post-game quest in Destiny 2, players will want to check out this guide to get it done quickly.
Upon purchasing the Beyond Light DLC, fans are going to wonder how they can access new abilities for the Stasis subclass. To unlock these extras, Guardians will need to speak to the Exo Stranger after beating the campaign to get the Born In Darkness quest. Part 2 of this quest line has a requirement that merely says to defeat the House of Salvation Platoon in Riis-Reborn Approach. While simple enough, finding this location and beating the platoon requires some know-how.

After reaching this part of the quest, bring up the Destination map. If not already there players will need to head over to Europa, the new map in Beyond Light. There is now a quest marker signaling where the House of Salvation Platoon is waiting. Unfortunately, there is no fast travel option, so Guardians need to take the long way around. Travel to the main Landing Zone in Europa, Charon's Crossing. From there, take the winding path through the frozen wasteland all the way North and hop in the elevator. Take the linear path until entering Riis-Reborn Approach.
Fortunately, at this point, the marker will appear to help guide players in the right direction. Either blast through the hordes of enemies lying in wait, or run past them all towards the marker. From there, just head through the next few doors and rooms until reaching another elevator. Head up the steps and hop into the teleporter. Now Guardians will be in the correct place to take on the mission. Another way players can make sure they are in the right room is the large shard that is in this location. Floating by the entrance, the marker will now remain on the object itself.
At this point, it is simply a matter of doing what Guardians do best: farming kills. The target here is Meliks, Salvation Elite, who is a large Fallen captain. While most Guardians will have a personal kit for taking out bosses, a sniper rifle can be useful here to maintain distance. Make sure to avoid any fire from Meliks while roaming around the small area. Aim to finish the beast off first, and then take out any remaining Fallen warriors to complete the House of Salvation Platoon quest.
Destiny 2 Beyond Light is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
