The latest player reported bug for Call of Duty: Warzone seemingly kicks players from matches for inactivity even while actively playing.

While Call of Duty: Warzone continues forward with new content and storylines, the experience overall continues to be hampered by glitches and bugs. It seems as though each day brings a number of new fan posts showing off bizarre glitches or behaviors during a typical Warzone match. Some issues like a glitch that the community refers to as God Mode makes players invincible even capable of surviving an insta-kill execution move.

Developer Raven Software continues to update its Trello board, giving fans an updated look at what the studio is working on as well as giving indications as to when issues will be fixed. Already, the studio has promised action on adjusting the infamous Roze skin which continued to be a thorn in the side of most players due to its ability to be hard to see. While Raven continues to communicate its intentions with the community, new bugs continue to pop up.

The latest one leaves fans frustrated as it kicks them out of matches completely. What's even more strange is that impacted players are being mistakenly botted from matches for what the game deems as inactivity, even though they're actively moving and playing in a match. While performing any actions within a match should reset the inactivity timer behind the scenes, for whatever reason, the one in Call of Duty: Warzone is not being reset resulting in players being sent back to the login screen.

Inactivity timers are nothing new to multiplayer games, as they're added to prevent lobbies from being filled by players who are away or not actively playing. However, this latest Call of Duty: Warzone bug was initially shared by reddit user ImCalcium, who clearly showed that they were moving around the map before getting booted to the main lobby. Unfortunately, the bug has started to spread as numerous comments under the original post share similar stories, with some happening at less than ideal times like one teammate being kicked during a tense firefight.

At this time, Raven has yet to comment on the surprising and frustrating bug. Still, the studio is taking steps against current issues such as temporarily removing Most Wanted contracts to address the previously mentioned God Mode glitch. The Raven also revealed four big changes coming to the game soon which include weapon balancing for the Tac Rifle, M16, FFAR 1, and the recently added Sykov pistol. Other upcoming changes include a fix for the no glint sniper rifle issue and a tweak to how players earn the RC-XD killstreak.

Call of Duty: Warzone is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
