Red Dead Redemption is filled with an array of Gambler challenges. Here's all of them and some tips to getting them done.

As the title indicates, there are a number of gambling challenges in Red Dead Redemption 2. Unlike the other eight challenge sets in the game, the gambling challenges have seemingly nothing to do with the gameplay. Each game is exactly the same as it would be in a casino, except for Five Finger Fillet, of course. Players need to buy in and win four different games, including Blackjack, Poker, Dominoes, and Five Finger Fillet.

There are no special locations for these challenges, and most of the outcomes will be based on a player's skill in each particular game. This guide will attempt to help players that are not familiar with these gambling games and provide a few tips to make the grind of completing each challenge easier.

Before attempting the first challenge, players will want to have a lot of money to work with. Gamblers always say that winning is inevitable with infinite money. For these challenges, having a bit more money will make completing all ten a little less painful. Players that have never played poker, or any of the games for that matter should consult the guides in-game. Players can access the guides under help, then under activities.

Skill is certainly present in poker games, but there is an element of luck as well. The poker challenges could take a few minutes or a few hours depending on the hands players are dealt. Gamers should stay patient and hope for the best. Eventually, even players that don't understand poker very will win five hands.

There are not a lot of tips to give players in this challenge. Doubling down is risky, and it may take a while before the odds are in the favor of gamers. Van Horn has a cheaper buy in, and that is the best place to accomplish the task without going broke.

Finally, players will be able to complete a skill-based gameplay challenge. Fearless players may have attempted this game in real life (hopefully with an object less dangerous). Both timing and button selection are important when trying to win Five Finger Fillet. The game can get difficult when it reaches level three, as players will need to remember the button to press for each finger. With a little practice, players should have no issues completing the challenge. Gamers that are struggling can move to a different town and beat a level one opponent there.

The most effective way to complete the challenge is to starve opponents. Players should continue to fold until all the players on the table have only cents left. At this time, gamers can use their monetary advantage to play them off the table.

There are three separate Domino games in Red Dead 2. In Emerald Ranch, players will engage in the draw game. In Blackwater, the game is all threes, and dominoes in Saint Denis is all fives. Gamers should choose which one they prefer and take down the fish at each table.

There is little mystery to this challenge. Gamers need to travel to the two locations and beat the dealer at each. The challenge is relatively easy, as players will only have to beat the dealer once.

Just like the Blackjack challenge above, players will need to win a game of Fiver Finger fillet in all three locations. Gamers can travel to each location and defeat an opponent in just a few minutes.

Players will definitely hate this challenge. Hitting three times rarely works out, and it may take an absurd amount of time and money to pull it off three times. This challenge can be the most time-consuming challenge in the entire game. Players need to go into the challenge understanding that it can, and probably will, take an hour of monotony to complete.

Players that are on a winning streak and are close to losing can just leave the game before it ends. Then, gamers can sit right back down and start a new match. Thankfully, leaving the game will not count as a loss, and players can just repeat the process until they secure all three wins.

While there is no roundabout to actually winning three hands in a row, players should be able to accomplish the challenge in a game or two. NPCs will get skittish if players bluff with a large number of chips, which can help players that continuously get bad hands. Unfortunately, sometimes it will take a while to win three in a row.
