Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, shares a video of his three-year-old daughter Tia Giana watching another DC movie, Aquaman.

Many superhero actors with children have shared cute stories of how their kids respond to having a superhero for a parent. On the other hand, actor Dwayne Johnson, a.k.a. The Rock, has shared a video of his young daughter reacting to a completely different superhero--Jason Momoa's Aquaman.

Johnson posted a video on Instagram of him and his three-year-old daughter Tia Giana watching Aquaman, and the little girl is riveted. "Look what Aquaman did to that man," she says, pointing to a fight scene on the screen. Johnson then asks her, "Is he the coolest? Who's cooler? Daddy?" Tia responds, "Aquaman," and Johnson laughs, saying, "He's pretty cool right? I agree."

Always supportive of his kids, Johnson posted another video, this time of Tia and her older sister watching a birthday message sent by Aquaman himself, Momoa. Tia is extremely excited, watching the message attentively and jumping around in excitement when it's done. Johnson says in the caption, "I had to make the call...it's what daddys do. I can't thank my brother @prideofgypsies enough for making this adoring 3 year old's birthday the best EVER. Her reaction is priceless and what it's all about."

Johnson and Momoa both bring DC characters to life onscreen. Momoa, of course, has been playing Aquaman for several years, debuting in a cameo role in Batman v Superman before starring in Justice League and his standalone film Aquaman. While the DC hero may have been the subject of many jokes over the years due to his aquatic abilities, once perceived to be useless compared to his Justice League teammates, Momoa's standalone film proved to be a success with movigoers. Aquaman earned over $1 billion at the worldwide box office to become the most financially successful entry in the DC Extended Universe franchise to date. Johnson, on the other hand, is a newer addition to the DC universe, having just begun production on Black Adam.

Black Adam has been in development for over a decade, facing various roadblocks and delays over the years. It finally began filming in Atlanta in April 2021, with Johnson in the titular role. Black Adam will also be starring Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, and is one of the most highly anticipated upcoming DC releases.

Johnson and Momoa have yet to share the screen in the DC universe or outside it. In terms of DC properties, Black Adam is more likely to crossover with DC's Shazam, even though there were rumors--that did not pan out--that Black Adam would cameo in Aquaman before that film's release. However, that did not stop these two stars from working together to create a sweet and memorable moment for Johnson's daughter. To Tia, Johnson and Momoa are a superhero team already.

Aquaman 2 is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 16, 2022.
