Call Of Duty Warzone: 7 Underrated Perks That No One Uses

Call of Duty: Warzone features a lot of great perks that most players are overlooking. Here are some of the most overrated.

Warzone was launched more than a year ago. Since then, players and content creators have had an ample amount of time to test and analyze how each perk works in-game. Surprisingly, only seven of the eighteen perks are used by more than six percent of players (Via: Wzranked). The data does not make sense, because there are seven excellent perks that barely anyone in the community uses.

Over 40 percent of gamers use Double Time, which only provides a crouch movement bonus if players are slide canceling. Fewer players use E.O.D., which greatly reduces the explosive and fire damage a character sustains. This guide will cover all of the underused perks that at least one player in a squad should consider using. People need to keep in mind that these can be second loadout or endgame perks and do not need to be used throughout the match.

7 Kill Chain

Equipping Kill Chain early in a match will increase the probability that a killstreak will drop from any loot box. While there is not enough information on the exact probabilities, it appears that the perk will increase the chances of finding a killstreak by about 50%. Considering how many boxes are looted by the average gamer in a match, this can give teams huge advantages. It is hard to dispute the benefits of E.O.D, but it may be a strategic play for a player in each quad team to use the perk. Squads will save thousands of dollars that they can pocket to buy back their teammates and get self-revive.

6 Restock

There are a few well-known streamers that use Restock tactically, but almost no one in the community uses the perk. Ghost and Overkill are by far the most used perks for a reason. Players will want to have their two loadout guns and perks after the first collapse.

However, Restock can be a lifesaver in the final circle. The perk will recharge both tactical and lethal equipment over 50 seconds. This means that gamers can throw a flash grenade and semtex every 50 seconds for the remainder of a match. People that like to play at a fast pace will find the perk useful when breaching buildings and rooftops as well. Gamers trying to get high kill games will not be as concerned about appearing on the UAV anyway.

5 Hardline

Hardline is yet another perk that has a useful role in quads. The perk reduces store prices by 25%. This means that buying a teammate back is only $3,000. Anyone using hardline can buy all of their teammates back with just $9,000. It may not be the best perk for maxing out damage and getting a ton of kills, but it will help teams win matches. Warzone is a battle royale game after all, and the perk will give teams another chance to win.

4 High Alert

Inconsistent audio, no sniper glint, and fast times to kill have plagued the game over the past couple of months. High alert will allow players to react before they are hit by the first bullet. The perk will also give players an indication as to where the enemy is on the map. Gamers that play a lot of Rebirth will probably not see the utility in the perk, but it can prevent a number of deaths in Verdansk.

3 Tune Up

Tune Up has the incredible benefit of reducing revive time by 25%. The perk applies to both self-revive and reviving a teammate. There is a clear correlation between running this perk and number of deaths.

The small 25% boost does not seem like much, but revives are often split-second decisions. Gamers will be able to finish the revive before teams can push, airstrike, or cluster. It is difficult to get rid of Amped, but it helps to have a medic in the squad.

2 Battle Hardened

Battle Hardened is a must in solo modes. The perk noticeably reduces the effects of flash, stun, and gas grenades. In highly skilled solo and duo matches, there are a host of people that use stuns and flashes to breach buildings. Battle Hardened will not completely negate the effects of these tactical items, but it will give those that use it a fighting chance.

1 Shrapnel

The perk will give players an extra lethal when they grab their loadout. Shrapnel was a common perk when C4 was the only lethal used by the community. However, almost no one uses it anymore. The only perk used less in the third slot is Spotter. With berthas being used as battering rams all over the map, it might help to have another grenade, thermite, or Molotov to throw at them. Shrapnel will also delay enemy health regeneration, which means they will stay one shot away from death for a much longer period.
