While there are some gamers that have discussed their hatred for The Last of Us 2 since its release, even more people seem to love the game. Twitter user @KyleJamesFilm turned that adoration into art, sharing a spectacular poster that depicts characters and symbols from the story of The Last of Us 2.

The Last of Us and posters seem to fit together perfectly, as Twitter user @IconicNephilim shared a collection of posters that depicted Ellie and Joel’s entire journey last month. A gorgeous lineup that showcased the entirety of the first two games, spotlighting all their important events, the posters were heavily praised by fans. Thus far, though, @KyleJamesFilm is seeing a similar level of appreciation, and it could not be any more well-deserved.

Rather than focusing on both games, @KyleJamesFilm places all their attention on making one piece for The Last of Us 2. In the poster, beloved protagonist Ellie can be seen in the center, with a smaller version of Lev to her right. In the top corner of the poster, Joel’s face can be seen — though it looks to be fading away, a clever reference to Ellie’s struggle to remember her father figure’s face. On the left side of the poster, WLF member Abby can be seen looking as intimidating as ever.

Several neat touches and subtle details are seen outside of the main characters, though. At the bottom of the image, a chained Clicker can be seen, a nod to the new faction that was introduced at the end of the game. On the sides of this clicker, Seraphites can be seen, with the cult’s wisely emblem positioned near Lev. A wolf can be seen perched above Abby, while fireflies can be seen near Joel. Behind Joel, some “Endure and Survive” graffiti can be seen, while some whales under Abby highlight the importance of the Aquarium to her story.

While seeing the finished version of the poster is plenty of fun, this fan of The Last of Us 2 went above and beyond. After the original post, a timelapse of the poster’s creation was shared, giving gamers the chance to see the art come to life. Seeing the characters start as basic outlines and slowly become more detailed is a lot of fun, as is the final process of coloring the cast in. From skin and hair to environmental details, the coloring section is wholly satisfying, and @KyleJamesFilm giving a look into the creation process is an awesome surprise.

With the artist selling prints of the poster, those interested can message them for info on having a copy of their own. Considering that the poster was made due to the player’s excitement over the Last of Us HBO series, hopefully the show impresses them in the same way this poster has impressed other gamers.
