Naruto is one of the most well-known anime series and manga series around the world. While the manga originally ran from September 1999 to November 2014, the anime (part one) aired from 2002 through 2007. Later, Naruto: Shippuden (part two) was televised between 2007 and 2017.
Part one of Naruto tells the story of ninja Naruto Uzumaki and his friends Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. They are a part of a team, under the leadership of elite ninja Kakashi Hatake. Eventually, they meet Orochimaru, a wanted criminal and main villain. The team also meets Jiraiya, one of the three legendary ninjas.

Plenty of other characters play a role in their journey. They run into Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke's brother and a shinobi of the Uchiha clan. There is also Hinata Hyuga, a kunoichi of Konohagakure and a member of another team. They face Gaara eventually, a shinobi of Sunagakure and their main rival, as well as Rock Lee, a shinobi of the Lee clan.
All the main characters serve a purpose in the story. For new and old viewers alike, here's some quick information on the heroes of this anime.
10 Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto Uzumaki was born on October 10th. In part of the show, he is between 12 and 13 years old, while in part two, he goes from 15 to 17 years old.
Regarding height, he is about 146 centimeters (4'9") in part one, and grows to about 166 centimeters (5'6") in part two. As for weight, he is roughly 40 kilograms (88 pounds) in part one and bulks up to 51 kilograms (112 pounds) in part two.
9 Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke Uchiha's birthday is the 23rd of July. Like Naruto, he is between 12 and 13 years old in the first part of the show. In the second part, Sasuke goes from 16 to 17 years old.
Sasuke is a bit taller than the title character. He is about 152 centimeters (5'0") in part one, and about 168 centimeters (5'6") in part two. Regarding weight, he is roughly 43 kilograms (95 pounds) in part one and roughly 52 kilograms (115 pounds) in part two.
8 Sakura Haruno
On March 28th, Sakura Haruno was born. Like her friends, she is between 12 and 13 years old in part one and goes from 15 to 17 years old during part two.

She is about 149 centimeters (4'11") tall in part one, and about 161 centimeters (5'3') tall in part two. Sakura weighs roughly 36 kilograms (79 pounds) in part one and then roughly 45 kilograms (99 pounds) in part two.
7 Kakashi Hatake
Kakashi Hatake was born on September 15th. Throughout the first part of the show, he is between 26 and 27 years old. In the second part, Kakashi goes from 29 to 31 years old.
When it comes to height, Kakashi is about 181 centimeters (5'11") in both part one and part two. His weight does not change either; Kakashi stays at roughly 68 kilograms (150 pounds) in both part one and part two.
6 Itachi Uchiha
Itachi Uchiha was born on June 9th. For the duration of part one, he is between 17 and 18 years old, while in part two, he is 21.
Itachi is about 175 centimeters tall (5'9") in the first part and grows to about 178 centimeters (5'10") in the second part. He weighs roughly 57 kilograms (126 pounds) in part one and roughly 58 kilograms (128 pounds) in part two.
5 Hinata Hyuga
Hinata Hyuga was born on December 27th. She is the same age as the protagonist, between 12 and 13 years old during the first part of the show and Hinata is 16 years old in the second part.
In regards to her height, she is about 148 centimeters (4'10") tall in part one and about 160 centimeters (5'3") in part two. Hinata weighs roughly 38 kilograms (84 pounds) in the first part and roughly 45 kilograms (99 pounds) in the second part.
4 Gaara
Gaara's birthday is January 19th. In part one of the show, he is between 12 and 13 years old. In part two, Gaara ages from 15 to 17 years old.

3 Rock Lee
On November 27th, Rock Lee was born. During the first part of the show, he is between 13 and 14 years old. For the second part, he's 17.
Rock Lee is about 160 centimeters (5'3") tall in part one, and about 172 centimeters (5'8") in part two. As to his weight, Rock Lee weighs roughly 47 kilograms (104 pounds) in the first part and bulks up to 55 kilograms (121 pounds) in the second part.
2 Jiraiya
Jiraiya was born on November 11th. For part one of the show, he is between 50 and 51 years old. Come part two, he's 54.

Orochimaru, Naruto's main antagonist, was born on October 27th. Like Jiraiya, he is between 50 and 51 years old in part one and 54 in part two.
