Inside of Roblox is a popular game that's all about pets. Players can adopt a variety of critters from peacocks to unicorns in the most popular game currently in Roblox's Adopt Me! With the newest update, players can now get ocean-themed pets.

The Ocean Egg update has brought a variety of new friends to adopt for Roblox's 150 million monthly players, replacing the Fossil Eggs from the previous update. This update's theme is all about pets that can swim, and the new salt-water friends include adorably cartoony, Roblox-y include:

• Octopus
• Crabs
• Sharks
• Seahorses
• Stingrays
• Dolphins
• Narwhals
• Clown Fish

In order to get an Ocean Egg, which is a legendary egg, players will need to buy them from the Gumball Machine; it's located in the Nursery. Each egg costs 750 Roblox dollars. Ocean Eggs have a chance to drop common, uncommon, rare, ultra-rare, and legendary Roblox Adopt Me! pets. The drop rates for each of the water-themed critters are:

• Common pets have a 20% drop rate
  • Stingrays
  • Crab
  • Dolphin
  • Seahorses
  • Narwhals
  • Clown Fish
  • Octopus
  • Sharks

  If players are unfamiliar with how to turn their pets Neon, they'll need a lot of luck. In order to turn any of the new Adopt Me! ocean pets into their higher levels, players will need to have multiples of the creature they want to turn neon. Once a player has four identical pets, for example, 4 Clown Fish, they can bring all 4 to the Neon Cave. Once there, the Cave will magically combine all four of the Clown Fish into one Neon Clown Fish.

  If players can collect four Neon Clown Fish, they can bring them all back to the Neon Cave, and the Cave will convert them into one Mega Neon Clown Fish. This works for any of the new Ocean Egg pets. With these adorable critters on the line, it's not a surprise that Adopt Me! has been played more than 20 billion times.

  All of this collecting and combining of pets will give players something fun to do while waiting to see if Roblox might come to the Nintendo Switch or PlayStation 4 or 5. Hopefully players on all platforms will soon have a chance to hatch their very own watery friends as well.
