Star Wars Pinball VR makes a surprise appearance at the Oculus Quest event, showcasing tons of improvements from its previous iterations.

Star Wars Pinball is coming to VR very soon, and the short trailer showed off a bunch of cool features. The main attraction is the pinball itself, of course, and it seems as though Zen Games is nailing that. Players will have access to eight different Star Wars Pinball tables, six pre-existing ones and two that were created especially for the virtual reality experience.

Exclusive pinball tables isn't the only thing coming to Star Wars Pinball VR, though, as there are other features that are sure to excite fans of the franchise. Most notably, players will have access to what Zen Games is calling "the Fan Cave," which is essentially the most incredible Star Wars shrine that few fans would be able to get in real life.

This "Fan Cave" can be customized to the player's liking and filled with memorabilia from the original Star Wars trilogy, the prequels, sequels, and spin-offs like The Mandalorian. Speaking of The Mandalorian, that is also one of the exclusive tables in the game, and it features key scenes from the entire first season of the show.

As if that wasn't enough, there are also collectibles for players to gather up while they play, and a unique global online component. Players choose either the Light Side or the Dark Side and their points are added up on a global leaderboard. Finally, there are even playable minigames that take place within each pinball machine, so players are unlikely to get bored while playing the new iteration of Star Wars Pinball VR.

Star Wars Pinball VR releases on April 29th for Oculus Quest.
