Players that don't want to spend money on rare or expensive items should know how to trade in Rocket League.

Rocket League has an extraordinary amount of customizable content. Epic Games has already displayed that they are committed to the battle pass system and will have new themes every season. What began as a simple game with just a few cars now has thousands of different items people can acquire by just playing the game.

Players always have the option to spend money on rare items they really want, but it is by no means necessary. By playing competitive modes and tournaments, gamers will receive a ton of free customizable items for their cars. People that are content with investing a little into the game should buy the battle pass instead of blueprints. There are dozens of exclusive items every season that are unlocked by completing the pass.

One of the unique ways to interact with other players on Rocket League is to barter and trade items. There are a few prerequisites before proposing a trade is possible. Both players must be in the same lobby to propose a trade. Also, they each have to be playing on the same platform (PC, Xbox, or PS). To initiate the trade, gamers will need to click on the icon of the offeree and select propose a trade. From there, the offeree can accept, decline, or propose a new trade instead. The entire process is relatively simple to complete, but unfortunately, people are still limited to trading on a particular platform.

It is never a great idea to trade items with a random player online. Trading with friends and clanmates is a lot safer. Many of the items in Rocket League must be purchased with real money. There are thousands of scammers trying to steal items and information every day. Scammers often prey on beginners and younger members in the community. Traders should be safe and never provide information to accounts they are not familiar with.

Gamers have the option of trading in items for an upgraded item as well. Epic has simplified the process of trading in items that players have in their inventory. There is now an option in the garage menu to trade in items. Each of the items are organized by category, which is a much better interface than before. In the trade in menu, players will be able to trade in five items of the same rarety for one item in a higher tier. For example, five rare items will award people with one very rare item.

Being able to trade in lower-rated core items is a nice feature for gamers that want to clean up their inventory and gamble for rarer accessories. Sadly, many of the items people will be able to unlock early in their progression are untradeable. However, there are a number of ways to acquire rare, very rare, import, exotic, and black market customizations.

There are three main types of items with five different tiers, which are mentioned above. Core items can be unlocked from drops and from the store. Tournament items are only unlocked if clans compete in weekly tournaments. Finally, blueprints can be acquired by playing the game or spending Rocket Points. By ranking up and winning in competitive modes, gamers will unlock drops.

These packages contain one item of varying rarity.  It is slightly annoying that people will have to open each one by one, but it is nice that Epic has continued to provide free content. Gamers will need to play the extra ranked modes to collect all of the attainable items in the game. Extra modes are a fun way to enjoy the game, and many of them will help newcomers develop essential skills in Rocket League.

The battle pass is the most economical way to acquire rare and exotic items in-game. Players will need to spend money on the first premium pass, but they will gain enough points to buy the next one by completing the pass. For $10 gamers will have access to items that would have been ten times that in the store. It is a small investment for people that play the game consistently. Premium pass holders will have something to look forward to as they climb the competitive ranks.

Gamers can purchase individual items and blueprints at the store as well. Epic frequently updates the items and promotions to offer people even more accessories for their cars. The store will be the most expensive option to obtain many of the items, but collectors and frequent players will probably have a few extra points to spare. This is certainly true for players that have the premium battle pass every month. Grinding through the ranks will complete the battle pass if the account has logged several hours in-game a week.
