Genshin Impact leakers are revealing new information about one unannounced five-star character that was shown in datamines months ago. Though it's unclear when he might be releasing, the upcoming five-star Anemo character might release as soon as Genshin Impact Version 1.6.

Most leaks surrounding Genshin Impact, especially those revealing characters, have been proven true. It looks like one leak that surfaced five months ago is also turning out to be real. Kazuha was first shown in a datamine from Redditor drakolla911 where he was incorrectly named Tohama, which was later corrected with his real name. As previously detailed by Redditor P_alladium, Kazuha has an Anemo Vision on his back, despite being clothed in a red color scheme, and wields a sword.

It's unclear where this leak originated, though it was posted by a number of insider Twitter accounts such as Zeniet, who has been responsible for many Genshin Impact 1.5 leaks. As miHoYo cracks down on insiders and closed beta testers that choose to release information against their agreements, Genshin Impact leaks are becoming more anonymous to protect users from bans. However, if this information came from a closed beta tester as per usual, that means Kazuha could release during 1.6's lifespan.

Some information about Kazuha, such as his stats and some Ascension materials, has also been leaked. However, this information should be taken with a grain of salt and could change prior to his full release. According to anonymous sources, Kazuha will require familiar resources like the Treasure Hoarder Insignias, similar to Kaeya and Bennett, as well as well as some unreleased materials, one of which looks like a glowing mushroom.

As for his attacks, Kazuha's Elemental Skill sounds similar to that of the Anemo four-star Sucrose. According to leaks, it pulls enemies within an AoE toward Kazuha before launching them and dealing Anemo DMG. Like Xiao, this attack will also position him strategically for powerful plunge attacks.

Fans are raving about the upcoming five-star character, hyping Kazuha up with about as much attention as Eula did when she leaked just before the release of Genshin Impact's 1.4 Update. The Genshin Impact corner of Twitter is already overflowing with fan art, and players are deciding which weapons would work best for him.

It looks like a weapon possibly releasing alongside Kazuha has also been leaked. The five-star sword is called "Boreas Precocity," based on a translation, though fans don't think it matches Kazuha's design. Its secondary stat will be Elemental Mastery and the sword will allow stacks.

Genshin Impact is available now on PC, Mobile, and PS4, and is currently in development for Switch. The native PS5 version releases April 28.
