The third entry in the Blood Bowl series is coming later this year, and developer Cyanide Studio has released a brand-new trailer highlighting the Black Orcs Team; the strongest and most powerful of all the Orcs. Blood Bowl 3 is a strategy game, and the Black Orcs Team has a game plan focused around brute force.

The Blood Bowl series is set in an alternative universe within the Warhammer franchise, and that is no different for Blood Bowl 3. The Black Orcs have always been known for their strength and brutality, and they are very powerful in Blood Bowl 3, as well.

The five-minute Black Orcs spotlight video showcases every aspect of what the team has to offer. While the abilities of the Black Orcs are not strong in areas of speed, grace, or passing, the team thrives in power and instilling fear in opponents. If Blood Bowl 3 is all about violence and spectacle, this team has the tools to be a fan-favorite.

There are plenty of strategies that can be utilized with the Black Orcs Team. Players can have three different roster members; a Black Orc (armored up and strong all-around), a Gobelin (weak but fast and cheap), and a Trained Troll (the team's muscle).

The return of the Blood Bowl franchise in 2009 was one that many fans were excited to see, and Blood Bowl 2 saw plenty of changes and upgrades that brought improvements to the formula. Blood Bowl 3 will need to live up to high expectations, but so far the strategy football game looks thrilling.

Blood Bowl 3 is scheduled to release August 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
