A new job posting from Warner Bros. Games hints at what the company may have in mind for future mobile game releases using DC properties.

Warner Bros. has listed a job posting that seems to be pointing towards the company working on another big mobile title. Warner Bros.' job posting, for a new Product Director at WB Games San Francisco, says that it is looking for someone to lead the team through its next generation of mobile titles.

If WB Games San Francisco sounds familiar, it recently launched the superhero collector DC Legends and the location-based wizarding AR-title Harry Potter: Wizards Unite (alongside Niantic). Both titles were a new step for Warner Bros. into the mobile market, where previously it had released some apps, but nothing of similar scale and popularity.

The job posting seems to suggest that Warner Bros. is looking to find similar success in the mobile marketplace with some of its other IPs. The job posting states that it is looking for someone to lead the company's next generation of mobile titles for a "DC Mobile Core" game. Unsurprisingly, the posting does not give any information on the game but does say that candidates should have experience working with major IP as well as knowledge of DC and its fandom. With some of the incredible things DC fans do to show their appreciation of the properties they love, a director who is familiar with the fandom could potentially make a great mobile game that fans will love.

While the job posting may not give any information on the mobile games being developed, it is no surprise that Warner Bros is looking to expand DC's presence in the market. With the recent success of Zack Snyder's Justice League, the company's upcoming movie releases like The Suicide Squad and The Flash are likely to do big numbers. It makes sense then that it would want to capitalize on that popularity with a mobile game or two for fans to engage with after the movies are over.

It will be interesting to see what DC mobile games come out in the future, and if it performs well enough, it may be likely that fans of Warner Bros.' other popular properties like The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix may see mobile games alongside their upcoming releases as well. Warner Bros. also has popular game series like the LEGO Star Wars series of games, so it is plausible that the company could look to move one of their flagship franchises to mobile as well. Of course, there is no way to know for sure, so fans will just have to wait until Warner Bros is ready to share more information on what future mobile titles fans can expect from the company.
