Radiangames releases a new teaser trailer showcasing its upcoming game, Instruments of Destruction, available to wishlist on Steam now.

Destructibility in video games is an important feature, as it allows the player to really feel the weight behind their actions. Taking that idea to an extreme, Radiangames just revealed a new upcoming title called Instruments of Destruction. In this game, players will build vehicles, outfit them with all kinds of ruinous attachments, and then let them loose on structures, cities, and more.

Players may recognize Radiangames as the developer of twin-stick shooter Inferno 2, and it is also working on another twin-stick shooter called Devastator. Needless to say, Instruments of Destruction will be a bit different than those games, with the primary focus being on destructibility of nearly everything in the environment. It's available to be wish listed on Steam now and set to release sometime during Q4 of 2021.

According to the game's Steam page, everything in the game world aside from small rocks and grass is subject to its advanced physics system. Since everything interacts with everything else, players will feel immersed in the destruction like never before. There are going to be a ton of different structures that need demolishing, so players will need to build progressively more insane vehicles to accomplish this.

The trailer above shows brief snippets of gameplay, mostly focusing on the destruction of various buildings. There are also a few short moments that showcase the process of building vehicles, which seems to be fairly intuitive. Fan reaction to the trailer is overwhelmingly positive so far, so it's definitely worth keeping an eye on until its inevitable release.

Instruments of Destruction will be available for PC in Q4 2021.
