These cards are incredibly valuable and can sell for hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.

With the return of Dragon Ball and the Dragon Ball Super anime airing stateside, Bandai and Koei Animation decided to accompany the series with an all-new Dragon Ball collectible card game. The Dragon Ball Super CCG started with the set Galactic Battle in July of 2017 and has been running strong since.

The game has gone through some evolution, and it spotlights all eras of Dragon Ball--from the original series to Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, the movies, Xenoverse games, and, of course, the titular Dragon Ball Super series. This means players can have heroes and villains from all eras cooperating or fighting in the CCG realm. Some of these cards have become incredibly valuable as players try to get their hands on them.

10 Saiyan Cabba

Saiyan Cabba, the warrior from Universe 6, forms a bond with Vegeta of Universe 7. This card was printed in the first set, Galactic Battle, and is a pretty potent Battle Card for one red energy. However, it's not Saiyan Cabba's abilities that place this one on the list.

Specifically, it's the Origins event 2019 printing of Saiyan Cabba that has such a high price tag. Worse yet, there aren't actually any listings on TCGPlayer or eBay for this card currently, but its market price on TCGPlayer is $500.

9 Cell Xeno, Unspeakable Abomination

Next up, we have Cell Xeno, Unspeakable Abomination. It's a suped-up version of Cell from the Xenoverse reality of the games of the same name. It was printed in the Universal Onslaught Set, and, unlike many higher-power Dragon Ball Super cards, doesn't really require much setup to play. It can be used in any green and/or yellow DBS deck.

At 12 energy cost, this puppy can seem kind of daunting to play until players look at the "Successor" keyword, which means they can send any number of their Battle Cards to their Drop Area that equal to Cell's energy cost and play this Cell. Then, with Quadruple Strike and Dual Attack, he can potentially send the opponent's life total from eight to zero in a single turn. This Cell will run players as low as $600 on TCGPlayer but has sold for as low as $370 on eBay.

8 SS2 Trunks, Memories Of The Past

The next entry on this list is the SS2 Trunks, Memories of the Past. This is where it becomes important to talk about how Super Rare cards have multiple printings, and some of these alternate printings end up skyrocketing to prices vastly higher than the regular printings of the same card.

SS2 Trunks, Memories of the Past is a Trunks card from the Assault of the Saiyans set and spotlights the Zamasu and Goku Black saga. It's blue and is intended to work well within a Vegito deck build. The signature version of this card can run players about $675 on TCGplayer and even more on eBay.

7 Universe 7 Saiyan Prince Vegeta

This Vegeta is a signature printing of the Universe 7 Saiyan Prince Vegeta from the Tournament of Power theme set. Dragon Ball Super theme sets are supplemental sets that focus on a specific group of characters or story arc, with this one coming from the Tournament of Power saga.

This Vegeta is a powerful finisher that switches all of a player's Battle Cards from Universe 6 and 7 to active mode, gives them a power boost, and Triple Strike. If the opponent survives this onslaught, it would be incredibly surprising. This Vegeta will run players $700 on TCGPlayer, but it has sold for as low as $250 on eBay.

6 Denial Of Hope

Denial of Hope is another Assault of the Saiyans card and the only Extra Card that will appear on this list. Extra Cards are single-use cards intended to shift the tide of battle in players' favor. In the case of Denial of Hope, it can send a card with 20000 or less power that an opponent is playing directly to the Drop Area.

This version of Denial of Hope runs so much money because it has alternate art and is a promo card stamped for the winner of a 2020 Dragon Ball Super CCG tournament. This one goes for $1,000 on TCGPlayer but has sold for as low as $300 on eBay.

5 Meteoric Energy SSB Vegito

This is another Assault of the Saiyans card and goes into the same kind of Vegito build as the Trunks higher up on this list. Players can fuse their Vegeta and Goku into this Vegito, and it uses cards in their Energy Area to boost itself up and can render all of the opponent's Battle Cards and energy inactive for the next turn. If players have that SS2 Trunks, it comes into play after being combo'd from the Energy Are with this Vegito.

The signature version of this card runs pretty high, selling for at least $1,150 on TCGPlayer but dipping below $850 on eBay.

4 Son Goku, Hope Of Universe 7

This Son Goku is intended to be un in a Universe 7 themed deck. Most Universe 7 Leader Cards in Dragon Ball Super make it so that they can use any color of Battle Card so long as they have the Universe 7 trait, though this Goku wants to be used with a green Leader Card.

It's a powerful bruiser with 35000 power and Triple Attack. This signature version of Son Goku, Hope of Universe 7 comes from the Tournament of Power theme set and runs players $1,660 on TCGPlayer but has sold for as low as $1,000 on eBay.

3 Broly, Ultimate Agent Of Destruction

This Broly comes to us from the Destroyer Kings set and has the Ultimate ability, meaning players can only use one of these in their Dragon Ball Super deck. That makes sense, given that it has Double Strike, Dual Attack, and can be played for no energy if one of a player's Battle Cards with an energy cost of seven is KO'd.

This Broly also has the Majin M on its forehead, making this a noncanonical version of Broly. Regardless, it's an insane powerhouse of a card that runs for $1,200 on TCGPlayer but has sold for $610 on eBay.

2 Son Goku & Vegeta, Apex Of Power

This is another Ultimate card, this time coming from the Universal Onslaught set. It's a team-up of Goku and Vegeta set during the Universal Survival saga. It has a whopping 45000 power and can be played at half of its cost if players have five or more red and blue multicolored cards in their Drop Area.

It also has the ability Victory Strike, which means players automatically win the game if Son Goku & Vegeta, Apex of Power ever successfully deals damage to their opponent's Leader Card. This one runs for about $1670 on TCGPlayer and has sold for as low as 1,190 on eBay.

1 Son Goku, The Awakened Power

This is the rarest and most expensive Dragon Ball Super CCG card on the market today. It's the Son Goku, The Awakened Power card from the Tournament of Power theme set. It's not a signature card either. This only has one printed version, but it's also hands-down the best card in the game.

It can evolve from a Son Goku with the Universe 7 trait for one energy and a Universe 7 card being placed from a player's hand to the Drop Area. Its attack and ability can't be negated, and it has Victory Strike. It has 45000 power, can't be stopped, and can instakill a player. Thankfully, this one is an Ultimate too, so opponents will only have one in their deck if any. This one runs for $3,100 on TCGPlayer but has sold for as low as $2,163 on eBay. For players willing to use a French-language version, it does drop below the $1,000 marker on eBay too.
