Magic Legends players can jump into a World Enchantment Weekend event starting today to craft up to three additional World Enchantments each day.

Roughly a month into the open beta for Magic Legends the game is running fairly smoothly. The beta experience seems to be a positive one so far, as the developers are offering create updates and clearly listening to the notes that they are being given by the beta testers. Bug fixes and quality of life improvements continue to rollout with each patch and now things are running well enough for some limited time events to start firing off.

This weekend brings a World Enchantment Event to Magic Legends that will ask players what their favorite color is. The special limited time event is going to offer Planesewalkers the chance to craft up to three additional color-themed World Enchantments each day throughout the event. This is a great opportunity for players who are looking for an extra challenge and seems to be a nice sneak peek at the sort of events the game might run frequently after its official launch.

World Enchantments are a pretty interesting and important piece of the Magic Legends gameplay loop, especially for players who are putting in a ton of hours and playing repeat content, so this sort of event definitely offers something that many players would find valuable. The activity kicks off today, so it will be very interesting to follow up along with the community feedback through all the usual channels and see how well-received it is and what sort of changes they would like to see for future events.

Thursday, April 29, 2021, at 7:00 AM PDT/10:00 AM EDT/4 PM CEST through Monday, May 3, 2021, at 10:00 AM PDT/1:00 PM EDT/7:00 PM CEST

Planeswalkers can craft up to three additional color-themed World Enchantments each day of the event at the Aetheric Core in their Realm.

These color-centric World Enchantments include unique effects that alter the way you approach the battlefield in Magic: Legends, like: Major resistance to Black and Red sorcery spells (Rakdos Resistance), all non-Green creature summons have 60% less health (Nature’s Way), non-Blue spells cost 50% more mana to cast (Abstract Ideals), and more!

Event-specific enchantments are crafted at the Aetheric Core, rather than the Prophetic Quill. Note that World Enchantment carry caps still apply.

World Enchantments add powerful, world-altering effects that can add further depth to your gameplay. They are consumable, single-use items that attach to story and ordeal mission maps.

Players can craft World Enchantments with earned materials gathered through gameplay or purchase them at the Consignment Broker.

There are three different tiers, with each tier increasing raw enemy and map difficulty, while the enchantment enhances the complexity of your encounters.

That should be everything players need to know to dive into this World Enchantment Weekend event. Be sure to keep an eye here and on the officially channels for any surprise features or changes that might pop up over the next couple of days as things progress.

The event will only be live for a few days, so be sure to login and take advantage of it while it's around. There is still no full release date available for the game and it's unclear exactly when the Xbox and Playstation versions are going to be available. Hopefully PC and console gamers can see a full release sometime in late 2021.

Magic: Legends is available now as an open beta on PC, and releases fully in 2021 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
