In order to create the perfect house in Genshin Impact, players will need to collect building materials, make dyes, and purchase blueprints.

In Genshin Impact, players can now build their dream homes complete with furnishings. Once players have the needed blueprints in Genshin Impact for their furniture, they can start collecting the pieces needed to make these items. Some of the furniture will require dyes to make, and players will have to make the dye themselves.

Players will have to return to the Serenitea Pot in order to make up some different colored dyes for themselves; the quest to unlock the Serenitea Pot area should be available to any players that are Adventure Level 35 or higher. The floating penguin that resides in the Pot can help players to build new structures and furniture, and they also will help players to create the three different dyes currently available in the game: blue, yellow, and red.

There are multiple ingredients that can make each of the three colors of dyes. The three colors can be made from:

  • Red Dye: Red dyes can be made from Genshin Impact's ubiquitous fruit called Sunsettia, carrots, and Valberries
  • Blue Dye: This color can be made from the very easy-to-find Mint. While it can also be made from Wolfhooks, players will be better off saving these for other uses.
  • Yellow Dye: Yellow dye can be made from two materials: Berries or Cor Lapis.

When players talk to Genshin Impact's Tubby in Serenitea Pot, then go to the crafting menu, they will need to select the bottle at the very top of the screen. This will bring up the menu to make not only dyes but also fabrics. Select the color of dye needed, then select "Swap Materials." This button will allow the player to choose which ingredient to use. Players can also use the sliding bar in order to create several of each colored dye at a time.

There are several of Genshin Impact's new housing and furniture blueprints that call for these colors of dye. Players will need plenty of each color in order to build each one:

  • Entrance Rug: A Warm Welcome - 2 Yellow Dye
  • Shopkeeper's Cedar Shelf - 2 Yellow Dye
  • Square Pine Tea Table - 2 Yellow Dye
  • Tavern Rug: Home Away From Home - 2 Yellow Dye
